Burning android question on the internet unsolved
Dear Google\Android makers,
On the Internet and in your marked there are so called "Task-killers".
The discussion is becoming as big as Android verses IPhone or Windows
versus Apple and I found is no good answer out there.
We all have the problem that our battery life is short and we found that
using a task-killer prolongs the battery-life. Now some say that this
is bad for the phone and some say its bad for the android software. Some
say that when not using a task-killer will end in Android working
better after a view weeks and learning to kill apps itself and so on.
Others say these are ghost story's based on thin air.
Please explain to me\us users of the Android phones and other android
hardware how the android software works with apps and battery life and
what is the best way to proceed with the use of task-killers.
Note,
I will share this item with the rest of the world, maybe so should you guys.
Thanks in advance for your thorough explanations.
Kind Regards

Why I bought an Android smartphone phone.
Well
I may assume you all have had a view phones like I did and my first
was a Nokia. I think it was a
2610
model and it had a gray screen with black text. More than a phone
call or text I could not send but he so did you.
Then I tried some other phones like Ericsson, Motorola, Samsung and so on and as time goes by I wanted to do more. Some people around me wanted the same and in that time the Smart-phone came in the stores. Unfortunately these phones where not for the average user, you had to dig deep int your pocket to buy one.
Then Smart phones had to get main stream to get mobile internet from the ground and so expensive phones went for free if you closed a one or two year mobile account with a provider. I bought my first smart phone more than years back to get on the internet and see what I could do with it. Unfortunately not much.
I had a Samsung Star and altho the menu was a fresh breeze of air if you come from for example a Nokia the software on it was not really usable. It had a closed software system and you could not install new software apps on it because no one had the code to write it. So If Samsung did not write it you did not get is. And they did not. The only thing you could do was surf the web.
That phone I gave to my son to play with. The phone was in that time hot in school so go for it. I went back to a cheap temporary Nokia. In the mean time I knew of Apple's Iphone en the existence from Android. Well it did not really exist but they had an Alpha release and the potential was big. Over the Internet there was a wave of noise from big watching sites writing about the possibility's from Android the System software from Google.
I am someone that ways the con's and pro's with in the back of my mind if it's worth the money. So the IPhone was a goner for me before it even came in the shop. The phone it self looks great and will work fine but it's not worth the money. Steve jobs knows how to get your money out of your wallet and if you are a Apple fan, sorry. Do not react on this I will not also ;)
And than Android got wings and made the impossible possible in a short time. An “open” software system that was simple to use for all kinds of devices. I myself downloaded my first Alpha and tested it on a old pc. This I wanted on my next phone, Android. And I went surfing on the internet. This was the beginning of august 2010 and there were a lot of devices that would come out in the near future with Android.
All great labels had planned or just released there android phone but most of them to expensive or not jet on the marked. So I Googled “cheap android phone” and the LG Optimus GT540 was a the cheapest phone and on many sites where tests that the phone preformed very well next to the more expensive ones. Not much later I payed my phone, had ordered internet and went playing.
First of all I had to input my Google account details and I was astonished by the smartness this software has. All my data was visible on my phone from Google. My Google planner was synced and so was my email. My phone book is my Google phone book so no numbers are on my phone or sim card. When I change data on the phone or computer data is synced instantly. When I hit an address Google maps gives me spoken directions.
The application (app.) marked has more than 55,000 pieces of fun software and most of them are free. Because I Hyve, Facebook, Twitter and more I checked the apps store and there was more choice than I could imagine so I downloaded these apps and tested them. Nothing more simple than downloading, testing and deleting apps.
First I downloaded Lookout an app that is anti-virus and backup in one. Its a free app with big free storage. Well you never know what you download and like the iPhone we do not want our phone to change into a bot-net. Touiteur is one of the best and beautiful twitter apps around. Hyves and Facebook are a bit sad and simple pieces of software next to Touiteur. Flickr free is an app to quick upload or check your online photos, it does exactly what it has to.
The app MSN talk is good software but drains your battery. GTasks will make a simple list of things to do and syncs this also with Google. You can not have a Android phone without Advanced task killer. This app will show you in one touch the open apps and gives you the opportunity to close one or all. EveryNote is a app that holds notes even video or audio and can sync with Google Docs.
GPS2GoogleEarth is an app that tracks your movements and can show them later on Google earth. Layer is an app that shows you what is around you and how far. If you look for a supermarket it shows you in witch direction you have to go and even links the data to the Google Maps navigation witch is standard on your phone.
I can go on and on about this android but I think it's clear I like it. The only downside, but that's with all new smart phones is the battery life. Because your phone is a small computer it runs just as quick out of battery life. Well as quick as the latest net-books, in about 8 to 10 hours of fun use. But he that why there are now mobile chargers for your phone.
